Flood situation is still grim in Bihar

Millions of people are badly affected by flood in Bihar.Government officials say around 80 people havebeen killed by flood, but actual figure is much more.Nearly three millions people became homeless.Rescue operation is going on but struggling hard to cope with the situation.The victims have taken shelter on school buildings, top of roofs, temples. The army is deployed in rescue operation. Number of naval boats are being taken into services, but many places are still untouched. Affected people are strugling hard for survival.
Disastrous situation is created by breach of kusaha dam on kosi river in Nepal on 18 august. Kosi changed its course killing thousands of people.
Around 250000 people are in camp now. But millions of affected people are still waiting for rescue.
The most affacted districts are Supaul, Madhepura, Araria, Saharsa and Purnia. Unprecedented havoc hasbeen created by flood in these areas and there is an unrepairable loss of lives and properties.
